Ways to Give
Because of the generosity of donors, our residents and clients within the community receive the quality care and exceptional services they need. Their gifts help to make remarkable differences in our ability to provide exemplary services. Because we are a 501(c)(3), your gifts to the Evangelical Homes of Michigan Foundation are tax-deductible.
The Evangelical Homes of Michigan Foundation is committed to assisting you with connecting your time, talents, and treasures to make a meaningful impact.
Caring is our Calling. It can be yours too.
The Evangelical Homes of Michigan Foundation gratefully accepts:
Annual Gifts
Monetary gifts made by check or credit card by mail, phone, or click Donate Now to make a secure online donation.
Matching Gifts
If you work for a company that matches gifts, your contribution could be doubled or even tripled to provide even more assistance for the older adults we serve.
Stock Gifts
Gifts of publicly traded securities that have appreciated in value allow you to avoid capital gains taxes while also receiving a tax deduction for your gift. The Foundation benefits by selling the stock without paying taxes on the gain. In many cases your contribution may be larger than what you might have been able to donate in cash.
Tribute Gift
A gift to the Evangelical Homes of Michigan Foundation is a special way to honor the memory of loved ones, especially for those who have had a connection with EHM Senior Solutions, while supporting the needs of older adults.
Gift from your IRA
If you are 70 1/2 years or older, making a gift from your IRA may provide tax benefits. Consult your financial advisor for more information.
Planned Giving
These are deferred gifts such as estate gifts. Become a member of the Zoar Society by including Evangelical Homes of Michigan Foundation in your estate plan. Charitable Remainder Trusts and gifts of Life Insurance are welcome.
To discuss a planned gift that will best fit your philanthropic interests, please contact Evangelical Homes of Michigan Foundation by phone at 734-429-1626 or buckmasterh@ehmfoundation.org.
