EHM Foundation News & Community Impact
In the month of May, we celebrate two important national observances that recognize the heart of compassionate care in our communities.
From May 6–12, we honor National Nurses Week, a time to recognize the dedication, skill, and compassion of nurses who make a difference every day.
We also celebrate National Nursing Home Week from May 10–16, which highlights the residents, staff, and communities that make nursing homes places of care, connection, and support.
These weeks often overlap, making it an especially meaningful time to show appreciation for the incredible individuals who serve older adults with dignity and compassion each and every day.
Sometimes the most meaningful messages are the ones written by hand.
The Foundation partnered with our friends at the Dottie Crim Adult Day and Education Center on a special handwritten card project to thank our supporters. Each card was thoughtfully created with care, creativity, and heartfelt appreciation.
These small gestures carry a big impact, reminding our supporters just how valued they are. Thank you for making moments like these possible and for being such an important part of our community.
This month, the Foundation had the pleasure of hosting a staff appreciation pizza party at Brecon Village.
It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the incredible team members who make such a meaningful impact every day, while also sharing more about our High Five Employee Giving Club. Between great conversations and plenty of delicious pizza, it was a fun and engaging time connecting with staff and showing our appreciation for all, they do.

Enjoy an evening filled with dancing, laughter, and meaningful connection, all while supporting EHM Senior Solutions and the seniors we serve.
Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 6–8 PM at the Saline Area Senior Center. Tickets are $30 for Individuals and $50 for Couple.
